On August 2-7th I met up with the Adio Footwear team at Woodward West skateboard camp in Tehachapi, California. I think it's really in Stallion Springs. It's about 2 hours west of Los Angeles.
I met up with Anthony Schultz, Nick Tucker, Sean Conover, Mike Owen, Steve Webb and Travis Howell for the week. Joey Brezinski and Mike Metcalf came for a day but had to leave due to the Agenda & ASR trade show going on the same week.
Woodward West offers 10 different skateboard parks to choose from. Whatever your feeling, it's there! My favorite place to skate is in the back of the Hanger. Lot's of smooth flat ground, ledges, manuals, stairs and rails all over the place. I would suggest asking your parents for a week or 2 at Woodward for a Christmas or birthday present. The place is amazing. If you get tired of skateboarding you can ride BMX, Skate or even do gymnastics. There's a couple bike courses as well.
